Posting to Your Blog from Approver.com

You can publish documents you create in Approver.com to your blog.

To send a document to your blog, use the Publish page. You can only publish documents to your blog that you own and that you've created in Approver.com's browser-based editor (accessible through the Create a Document page). Other documents (such as files you've uploaded) can be published to the web instead.

To publish an Approver.com document to a blog, you must first do two things:

  • Set up a blog. Approver.com can automatically publish your documents to Typepad and Wordpress.com blogs.
  • Create a link from your Approver.com account to your blog. After you've done this, you'll be able to export documents from Approver.com to your blog.

Both Typepad and Wordpress.com are terrific. They're both hosted, which means you don't have to set up any software, own a server or perform any hackery to start publishing your documents on the Web. We've used both systems extensively for both personal and corporate blogging.

Typepad starts at $4.95 a month, has vigorous and sensitive customer support and is a more fully-featured and flexible in some areas than Wordpress. Wordpress.com is also a great blogging system (we use it for our own product blog), and it has the advantage of being free.
